POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Write test plan & test strategy.
• Write & execute manual & automated test cases/scripts.
• Monitors test results and reports using analysis tools.
• Track defects & create defects summary report for different group of people.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues as needed, to determine necessary corrective action.
• Good Troubleshooting and analytical skills is a must.
• Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented.
• Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and techniques.
• Understanding of software team tools such JIRA, SVN.
• Should have strong experience in Windows based application.
• Should have good Written & Verbal Communication Skills.

Preferred experience:

• Experience of test plan/test case execution.
• Experience of Failure Mode Effects Analysis, or other such root cause analysis methodology.
• Experience with end to end testing, interaction/integration with multiple downstream systems.
• Understanding of hardware modules.
• Technical skills as an individual contributor in a QA Organization with prior knowledge of manual testing.
• Experience of design test strategy, test cases for integrating several software components as well as system testing.
• Experience in Test Management, Test Automation, Performance Testing, Functional Testing, Defect Management etc.

Basic Qualification:

• Graduate / Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, ECE) / MCA
• 0 - 4 Years’ experience
